The steps on how to connect to WhatsApp are below.
- Log in to SnippetSentry
- Click “Connect” for WhatsApp from the Channel Dashboard
- Agree to the Terms of Use
- Agree to receive messages from SnippetSentry
- Open the WhatsApp app on your phone
- On iPhone, open Settings in your WhatsApp app
- On Android, open the “Menu”
- Select “Linked Devices”, then select “Link a Device”. The camera will open in preparation for a QR code.
- Click Next on the SnippetSentry menu
- The QR code will promptly appear - scan it with your phone
- A Google Chrome linked device will appear on your WhatsApp settings when your connection is successful
- Your WhatsApp setup is complete! Click “Done” to close the window.
